Customize your sales page themes

With our new sales page branding settings, admins have more control than ever before.

You can now customize the sales page with your company’s logo and brand colors and save that as a themed template for your team to easily use. This feature is available under branding settings and is super easy to use. You will find two types of templates, 

  • Custom Themed Templates: All custom themed templates created from existing Hippo templates will be listed under this section.

  • Hippo Video Templates: Ready-to-use pre-designed templates for various categories such as Sales, Greetings, Christmas, Insurance, and Channels will be listed in this section.

Note: Currently, we don’t support custom themed templates for Christmas, Insurance, Greetings, and Channel categories.

Plan details:

  • Growth and Enterprise plans

  • Branding - This permission is available under Standard Admin profile by default.

  • To enable this permission for a user without enabling Standard Admin profile, the Admin can create a custom profile under User Management > Profiles tab. To know more about profiles and permissions, click here

What can a Standard Admin do with this new feature?

  • Create custom themed templates from existing Hippo templates.

  • Apply color themes for sales pages and share it with the team members.

  • Set access to the Hippo templates/Custom themed templates for individual users

  • Enable the permission to Manage page themes for a profile.

Where can you find the settings for Custom Themed Templates inside Hippo Video?

  1. Login to Hippo Video using existing credentials.

  2. Click the Moreicon from the left navbar and then click on Settings or click the Settingscicon from the left navbar.

  1. Click on the Branding card. 

  1. By default, the General Settings tab will appear. 

  2. Here, you can customize your company logo, player watermark, favicon, subdomain, custom domain, and player settings to mark your company branding for your videos. To learn more about branding, click here.

To manage Hippo Video templates:

  1. Click on the Custom Themed Templates tab. By default, it displays your customized templates, if available.

  1. Now, click on the All Templates below the Hippo Video Templates section where you'll find all the existing pre-designed templates for different categories such as ProspectingDeal Progression, Follow UpClosureAccount ManagementMarketingGreetings, and Others.

  1. The Search option lets you search for the specific template.

  1. The Select All allows you to select all the templates.

  1. Or if you want to select the specific template then hover the mouse over the template.

  1. The Green tick indicates the selection.

  2. The Create Custom Theme button allows you to create custom themes based on your requirements; The Preview button on the left bottom of the template thumbnail allows you to preview the selected template.

  1. In case, if you want to select all the templates and set access then you need to check the Select All box upon which the Set Access option will appear at the top.

  1. Or if you want to set access for the specific template then hover the mouse over the template and click More icon > select Set Access from the pop-up.

  1. Click on the Set Access option and set your preferences by choosing the options.

VisibilitySelect the users or groups from the search field. By default, the selected users or groups will be given view access.

  • Set access as Viewer/Editor for the selected users or groups.

  • Select the Remove Access option to keep the page private if you prefer.

Share with everyone in the organization: In order to provide access to the sales page to others in the organization, check the Share with everyone in the organization box. The Everyone in the Organization option will get listed below the Shared with box. You can select the access accordingly.

  1. Once done, click Save. The changes will be updated automatically.

To create custom themed templates:

  1. Hover the mouse over the template of your choice and click on the Create Custom Theme button. 

  1. You’ll be redirected to the preview page of the template.

  1. Here, you can add brand elements to the template using the following options:

    1. Background Color - Set background color.

    2. Font Family - Set font.

    3. Buttons - Add buttons and set colour. You can add upto a maximum of 5 buttons.

Note: The background color and the buttons will be listed dynamically as per the template chosen.
  1. The changes made can be seen in a preview on the right side of the screen.

  2. Once you’re done, click Next.

  3. You’ll be redirected to the Page Settings screen.

  4. Enter the template title, description, visibility, and permission.

  5. Hit Save.

  1. The custom template is created successfully and will get listed under Custom Theme Templates section.

  1. You have the option to edit, clone, and delete the custom themed templates.

  1. Now, all set. Users will be able to create a sales page based on the access set by the admin.

Where can the sales page templates be found?

  1. Go to Sales Pages and click on Create a New Sales Page.

  2. You find the template below the Custom Themed Templates tab.
